Utilizing the principles of near-infrared scattering and transmission, scattered light is captured by the 8 scattered light photoreceivers at the detection end, while transmitted light is received by the central photoreceiver, with the scattered and transmitted light receivers forming an 11° angle. The ratio of scattered light intensity to transmitted light intensity is proportional to the content within the medium. The product solidifies at zero point, eliminating the need for calibration and adjustment forever. Accuracy of 0.3%, resolution of 0.015ppm. Fully online, no sampling required, temperature up to 240°C, pressure up to 320bar.
Currently, the primary method for measuring oil in water is based on the principle of ultraviolet fluorescence, which can only detect aromatic oils, whereas refinery oil contains olefins, alkanes, and aromatics. The ultraviolet fluorescence measurement is not comprehensive.
