Woven geotextile格栅 is made from high-strength fibers or industrial polyester long fibers, woven into a directional mesh fabric, then coated with PVC to form the geotextile格栅, known as the "fiberglass rebar." It is also referred to as polyester geotextile格栅 or woven polyester geotextile格栅 and is one of the commonly used geosynthetic materials in civil engineering. Geogrid is a primary geosynthetic material, which, compared to other geosynthetics, boasts unique properties and benefits. It is commonly used as reinforcement for geosynthetic reinforced soil structures or as reinforcement in composite materials. Geogrids are categorized into four main types: plastic geogrid, steel-plastic geogrid, glass fiber geogrid, and glass fiber polyester geogrid. Plastic Geogrid Due to the polymer's high molecular reorientation during the heating and extension process in the manufacturing of plastic geogrids, the intermolecular bond strength is enhanced, thereby increasing its strength. The elongation rate is only 10% to 15% of the original sheet. By adding anti-aging materials such as carbon black to the geogrid, it can achieve good acid, alkali, corrosion, and anti-aging resistance properties. Bidirectional Geogrid The bidirectional geogrid is made by extrusion, sheet forming, and punching processes, followed by longitudinal and transverse stretching of high molecular polymer. This material boasts significant tensile strength in both directions, offering an ideal连锁 system for force distribution and diffusion within the soil, making it suitable for large-area load-bearing foundations. One-way geogrid Unidirectional geogrid is produced by extruding and pressing high molecular polymer into a thin plate, followed by punching it into a regular grid pattern and then stretching it longitudinally. This process orients the high molecular polymer into a linear state, forming a uniform, long elliptical mesh structure with high node strength. This structure boasts a significant tensile strength and modulus of elasticity, with our products demonstrating high early tensile strength and modulus of elasticity (within 2% to 5% elongation). It provides an ideal force-bearing and diffusing连锁 system for soil. The product has a high tensile strength (>150 Mpa), suitable for various types of soil, and utilizes reinforced reinforcement materials. Steel-plastic geogrid Steel-plastic geogrid, made of high-strength steel wire (or other fibers) treated in a special manner, combined with polyethylene (PE) and other additives, extruded into a composite high-tensile tensile strip with a rough embossed surface, is known as a high-tensile reinforced geotextile tape. From this single strip, by weaving or interlacing longitudinally and transversely at certain intervals, and using a special reinforced adhesive welding technology to weld the junction points, a reinforced geogrid is formed. Glass Fiber Geogrid Glass fiber geogrid is a woven mesh structural material made of glass fiber, processed through special coating techniques to form a geosynthetic composite material for protecting the glass fiber and enhancing overall performance. The main components of glass fiber are silicon dioxide, an inorganic material with extremely stable physical and chemical properties. It boasts high strength, high modulus, wear resistance, and resistance to cold weather without long-term creep. It has good thermal stability, and its mesh structure facilitates aggregate interlocking and restraint, improving the load-bearing capacity of asphalt mixtures. The surface coating of special modified asphalt endows it with dual composite properties, enhancing the wear resistance and shear strength of the geogrid.
