A drainage board, it is a type within the extensive family of drainage boards. Blocky, waterproof, and water-retaining, it is commonly used for roof greening and indoor planting. Features: Easiest installation, straightforward maintenance, and cost-effective. 2. Strong load-bearing and durability. 3. Ensures quick drainage of excess water. 4. The water storage section can store a portion of the water. 5. Provides ample moisture and oxygen for plant growth. 6. Light weight and strong roof insulation and heat preservation function. Construction Notice: When used for garden ponds, flower boxes, and flower beds, directly substitute water-retaining panels and filter geotextiles for conventional materials (such as filter layers composed of expanded clay, river pebbles, or shells, etc.). 2. For hard surface greening on new or old roofs, underground engineering deck, etc., prior to laying the drainage and retention boards, clear the site of debris, set up the waterproofing layer as per the design drawings, then slope the surface with cement mortar to ensure no significant undulations. Arrange the drainage and retention boards in order, and no additional drainage blind trench is required within the laying area. 3. When used for constructing interlayer boards in buildings, the water retention and drainage board is laid on the roof concrete slab, with an additional single wall built around it or protected with concrete. This allows groundwater to flow through the voids of the drainage board into the blind trench, which then collects it. 4. The drainage boards are interconnected around the perimeter, and the gaps during installation serve as the lower drainage channel. The geotextile filter and moisture retention layer above also needs to be properly overlapped during installation. 5. After the geotextile drainage boards are laid, proceed with the next step promptly by installing the filter geotextile and media layer. This prevents soil, cement, and yellow sand from clogging the channels or entering the water storage, water trays, and drainage paths of the drainage boards. To ensure the full functionality of the geotextile drainage boards, you can also lay an operational board on top of the filter geotextile, facilitating landscaping work.
