Hose

Hose is a tubular fabric that can withstand liquid pressure. It is capable of transporting water or foam firefighting fluid under high pressure and is a type of firefighting equipment.

Hose reels are categorized by their pressure resistance: ①Low-pressure hose: capable of withstanding pressures below 8 kg/cm²; ②High-pressure hose: capable of withstanding pressures up to 20 kg/cm². The口径 (diameter) of fire hoses generally comes in 6 sizes: 38, 50, 65, 76, 89, and 102 mm. Hose reels with diameters above 102 mm are commonly used for water conveyance and irrigation.

Hose belts are made from cotton, linen, or chemical fibers, featuring a plain weave tube structure with double warp and single weft. They are woven on heavy-duty plain weave looms.

Also available as raw materials are nylon and polyester filaments, which are woven into tube blanks using double-needle circular knitting machines. These blanks are lined with a layer of rubber, 1 to 3 mm thick, or coated with a thin layer of high molecular weight synthetic material on both the inside and outside, to withstand high pressure and resist corrosion.
