The fine dry powder starting component is an independent automatic starting device for fire extinguishing. It monitors the temperature of the location to protect it (such as offices, rooms, commercial areas, warehouses, garages, etc.) from fires. It emits an audible and visual alarm signal and activates the fire extinguishing equipment when the temperature exceeds the set value.

2. Fine dry powder starting component equipment is suitable for indoor operation.

3. The composition of the fine dry powder start-up component equipment includes: electrical part: equipped with a "monitoring" inductive switch, LED indicator lights, 1 temperature-sensitive switch, feedback relay, battery case, a rotary switch (for setting delay time), terminals for connecting electric igniters and cascade, and a fixed piezoelectric ceramic sound emitter.

4. The fine dry powder start-up component equipment monitors the installation site's temperature in "standby" mode. No power connection is required in this mode (the temperature sensor switch is normally open, closed during operation. The "monitor" inductive switch is normally open, attracting when the magnet bar is close).

5. In the "standby" mode, the fine dry powder starting component equipment operates by bringing a magnet rod close to the detection point (opposite to the location of the light-emitting diode), actuating the "monitor" induction switch, and performing integrity monitoring of the starting electric igniter circuit and power status monitoring.

6. The fine dry powder starting component equipment emits an audible and visual signal "Normal" (one sound and one light signal) when the starting electric igniter circuit is normal and the power supply voltage is normal.

After the electric igniter successfully ignites, the feedback terminal will output a set of passive contacts (normally open, closed after startup).

9. All the cascade devices in the fine dry powder initiating component are interconnected; if any one emits a "fire alarm" signal, the rest will simultaneously emit a "fire alarm" signal. To avoid multiple electric igniters from sparking simultaneously, set the action delay time for each igniter to different values to achieve timed start-up. At the factory, the dip switch is set to 1000 (2-second delay).

10. The fine dry powder start-up component secures the equipment to the ceiling or other protected structures, with dimensions and connection methods as per the design drawings.

11. It is recommended to use copper-core wiring to connect the equipment with the electrical igniter's starting circuit for the fine dry powder start-up component, with the cross-sectional area of the conductor wire up to 1.5mm.

12. When installing the fine dry powder starting component with the electronic fire extinguishing starter on the base, align the LED indicator on the front panel with the number 5 terminal on the base and rotate counterclockwise to secure it.

13. The fine dry powder start-up component assembly can be transported by various means, including land, sea, and air transport. During transportation, it should be protected from strong vibrations, collisions, excessive pressure, and rain, and should be prevented from being mixed with corrosive materials.

14. The fine dry powder starting component assembly should be stored in a warehouse with good air circulation, free from corrosive gases, and without dripping or liquid intrusion. The relative humidity of the air should not exceed 95%, and the temperature should be between (-10 to 55℃).

15. Maintenance and repair of the battery in the fine dry powder starting component require attention to: 1) Remove the protective cover of the device. 2) Open the battery compartment clip and remove the battery. 3) Insert a new battery and tighten the clip. 4) Replace the protective cover of the device.

16. Before installing the fine dry powder starting component, please carefully read the product manual and strictly follow the installation instructions provided.

17. Installation and maintenance of the fine dry powder starting component must be performed after removing it from the base.

18. If the fine dry powder start component has a cascading function, do not short-circuit terminals 1 and 3 of this device to prevent false operation!

19. When the fine dry powder starting component is initially connected to the starting device, please ensure to "set the code delay to 30 seconds!" This is to prevent any faults in the detector or wiring from directly causing false operation.

22. Fine Powder Temperature Control Start Module (starter): When wiring multiple temperature control start modules, always connect terminal 1 to terminal 1 and terminal 3 to terminal 3. Do not connect terminal 1 to terminal 3 together as it will cause a false start. Please pay close attention!!

23. Fine Powder Temperature Control Start Module (Starter): The temperature control module's terminals 4 and 6 will output a passive feedback signal during startup.

24. Fine Dry Powder Temperature Control Start Module (Starter): Set the temperature control start module's delay time (0~30 seconds) according to the dip switch table.

25. Fine Powder Temperature-Controlled Start Module (Starter): Note that when installing, after removing the base, do not stack multiple modules together, as it may cause terminal contact and discharge, leading to reduced starting voltage. It is recommended to install one module at a time after removing the base.

26. Fine Dry Powder Intelligent Linkage Control Module: Terminal 1 is the positive terminal, Terminal 2 is the negative terminal, connected to 24V positive and negative (polarized, do not reverse connect).

27. Fine powder intelligent interlock control module: The start button is connected to terminals 12 and 13 with two non-polarized wires (terminals 12 and 13), and can be remotely linked to the main control room (requires the main control room to provide a passive switch signal).

28. Fine Powder Intelligent Linkage Control Module: Delay Setting Method (0~30 seconds): After connecting the 24V power supply, hold the "Set" button on the panel for 5 seconds and release to enter the setting mode. The current setting time will be displayed, then press the "Adjust" button to increase the time by one second in a 0~30 loop. After setting the time, hold the "Set" button for 5 seconds until the display turns off, indicating the adjustment is complete.

29. Fine Powder Start/Stop Button: Features 4 wires, red and black connected to 24V; green and blue connected to the intelligent interlock control module's 12th COM port and 13th C terminal (non-polar).

30. Operation method for the fine dry powder start/stop button: Press the start button when a fire is detected. If it's a mistake, press the stop button within 0-30 seconds to terminate the start. To reset the start/stop button, first press the start button (the start button will automatically reset), then press the stop button again (the stop button will automatically reset). At this point, the button is fully reset.

31. Operation of the fine dry powder start/stop button: Pay attention to the reset sequence; incorrect order may lead to accidental activation!!

32. Fine dry powder starting component debugging注意事项: Do not connect the fire extinguishing device before debugging. Ensure all alarm systems are interconnected, manual, and debugging is complete. After the fire safety acceptance is completed and approved by Party A, then activate the fire extinguishing device.

Test methods for the starting component with cascade function of fine dry powder starting devices: 1) DIP switch delay. 2) Multimeter measurement shows approximately 6V voltage at terminal 1 and 3. 3) Use a hot air gun to blow the metal heat sink until the starting device alarms. 4) Multimeter measurement shows over 5V voltage at terminal 1 and 5 at this point, and the voltage drops to over 4.5V after the alarm. 5) When the relay operates, measure terminals 4 and 6 with the multimeter, and the switch changes from normally open to normally closed.
