The fine dry powder starting component is an independent automatic starting device for fire extinguishing. It monitors the site's temperature to protect areas such as offices, rooms, commercial spaces, warehouses, garages, etc., from fires. It emits an audible and visual alarm signal and activates the fire extinguishing equipment when the temperature exceeds the set value.

2. Fine powder starting component equipment is suitable for indoor operation.

3. The composition of the fine dry powder starting component equipment includes: electrical part: equipped with a "monitoring" inductive switch, LED indicator lights, 1 temperature sensor switch, feedback relay, battery box, a coding switch (for setting delay time), terminals for connecting the electric igniter and cascade, and a fixed piezoelectric ceramic sound emitter.

4. In "standby" mode, the fine dry powder start-up component equipment monitors the temperature of the installation site. In this mode, power connection is not required (the temperature sensor switch is normally open, closed during operation. The "monitor" induction switch is normally open, attracting when the magnetic rod is close).

5. In "Standby" mode, the fine dry powder starting component equipment uses a magnetic rod to approach the detection point (opposite the location of the light-emitting diode), to close the "Monitoring" sensor switch, and to perform line integrity monitoring for the starting electric igniter and power status monitoring.

6. In the event that the starting component equipment for fine dry powder is operating with a normal ignition circuit and a standard power supply voltage, the device emits an audible and visual signal indicating "Normal" (one sound and one light signal).

After the electrical igniter successfully ignites, a set of passive contacts (normally open, closed after startup) will be output on the feedback terminal.

9. All the cascade devices in the fine dry powder initiating component are interconnected; if any one emits a "fire alarm" signal, the rest simultaneously emit a "fire alarm" signal. To avoid multiple electric igniters from acting simultaneously and producing a larger spark, set the action delay time of each igniter to different values to achieve timed initiation. At the factory, the dip switch is set to 1000 (2-second delay).

10. The fine powder starting component secures the device to the ceiling or other structural components of the protected facility. Refer to the design drawings for the device's dimensions and connection methods.

11. It is recommended to use copper-core wires to connect the equipment with the electrical igniter's starting circuit for the fine dry powder starting component, with the wire's conductive core cross-section reaching 1.5mm.

12. When installing the fine powder starting component with the electronic fire suppression starter onto the base, please align the LED on the front panel with the terminal No. 5 on the base and rotate it counterclockwise to secure it.

13. The fine dry powder starting component assembly can be transported by various methods, including land, sea, and air transportation. During transport, it is crucial to prevent strong vibrations, collisions, excessive pressure, and exposure to rain, as well as to avoid mixing with corrosive materials.

14. Fine dry powder starting component devices should be stored in a warehouse with good air circulation, free from corrosive gases, no dripping or liquid intrusion, with relative humidity not exceeding 95%, and a temperature range of (-10 to 55°C).

15. Maintenance and repair of the battery in the fine dry powder starting component should be noted: 1) Remove the protective cover of the device. 2) Open the battery holder clips and remove the battery. 3) Insert a new battery and tighten the clips. 4) Reinstall the protective cover of the device.

16. Before installing this fine dry powder start-up component, please carefully read the product manual and follow the installation instructions strictly as stated in it.

17. Installation and maintenance of the fine dry powder actuator must be performed after it is removed from the base.

18. If the fine dry powder starting component has a cascading function, do not short-circuit terminals 1 and 3 of this device to prevent unintended operation!

19. When initially connecting the fine powder actuator to the starting device, please ensure to "set the delay code to 30 seconds!" This is to prevent any malfunctions or faults in the detector or wiring from causing false operation.

22. Do not connect the 1st terminal to the 3rd terminal as it may cause accidental startup. Please pay close attention!!

It is recommended to install one module after completing the installation of one.

26. Fine powder intelligent interlock control module: Terminal 1 is the positive terminal, terminal 2 is the negative terminal, connected to 24V positive and negative (polarized, do not reverse connect).

27. Fine Powder Intelligent Linkage Control Module: Connect the start/stop button to terminals 12 and 13 with two wires (non-polar), and connect terminals 12 and 13 to the main control room for remote linkage (requires the main control room to provide a passive switch signal).

28. Fine Powder Intelligent Linkage Control Module: Delay Setting Method (0~30 seconds): After connecting the 24V power supply, hold the "Set" button on the panel for 5 seconds and release to enter the setting mode. The current setting time will be displayed, then press the "Adjust" button to increase 1 second at a time in the loop of 0~30. After setting the time, hold the "Set" button for 5 seconds until the display turns off, indicating the adjustment is complete.

29. Fine powder start/stop button: features 4 wires, red and black connected to 24V; green and blue connected to the intelligent interlock control module's 12th COM and 13th C terminal (non-polar).

30. Operation of the fine dry powder start/stop button: Press the start button when a fire is detected. In case of accidental operation, press the stop button within 0-30 seconds to terminate the start. To reset the start/stop button, first press the start button (the start button will automatically reset), then press the stop button again (the stop button will automatically reset). At this point, the button is fully reset.

31. Operation of the fine dry powder start/stop button: Pay attention to the order of reset; incorrect sequence will cause unintended activation!!

32. Fine dry powder starting component debugging precautions: Do not connect the fire extinguishing device before debugging. Ensure all alarm systems are interconnected, manual, and debugging is complete. After fire inspection is passed and approved by Party A, then the fire extinguishing device may be activated.

50. Testing methods for the fine dry powder start-up component with cascade function: 1) DIP switch timing delay. 2) Measure approximately 6V voltage between Terminal 1 and Terminal 3 with a multimeter. 3) Use a heat gun to blow on the metal heat collector plate until the start-up device alarms. 4) With the multimeter, measure that the voltage between Terminal 1 and Terminal 5 is above 5V at this moment, dropping to above 4.5V after the alarm. 5) When the relay operates, measure Terminals 4 and 6 with the multimeter, and the switch changes from normally open to normally closed.

51. Test results for the fine dry powder starting component with cascade function: If the test results match the conditions described in the method, the product functions normally; otherwise, there is an issue.
