Generally, the volume fraction of CO2 in the air should be maintained between 0.03% and 0.1%. Levels exceeding 0.5% to 0.6% can reduce the efficiency of photosynthesis.

Equipment MaintenanceRegular inspections and maintenance of equipment, including electrical components and gas pipelines, are conducted to ensure proper operation and precise release of carbon dioxide. Additionally, filters and other components prone to clogging are cleaned or replaced regularly to prevent disruption of the gas flow.

Opportune TimingCrops undergo two peak periods of photosynthesis during the day, from 9:00 to 11:00 AM and from 2:30 to 3:30 PM (under winter greenhouse conditions). Applying carbon dioxide moderately during these vigorous photosynthesis phases can significantly enhance efficiency and accumulate more photosynthetic products. Additionally, it should be used reasonably based on weather conditions; no application on cloudy days, increased dosage on sunny days, but avoid excessive carbon dioxide concentration in high-temperature conditions to inhibit photosynthesis.

UsageApply evenly to the upper and middle leaves of the crop, as these leaves receive more sunlight and have stronger photosynthetic capacity, requiring more carbon dioxide. However, be cautious not to apply too close to the growth point of the crop to avoid excessive concentration that may inhibit growth.

Airtightness RequirementsWhen using carbon dioxide within the facility, it is required that the facility's structure have good sealing performance to ensure stable and effective carbon dioxide concentration.
