The mashing system for beer primarily consists of a mashed tun, a lauter tun, a filter bed, a boiling kettle, and a whirlpool tank. Different combinations can be designed as needed. For the mashing section of craft beer production lines, various setups such as three-vessel, four-vessel, and five-vessel configurations are commonly used. The tanks are all made of sanitized grade stainless steel 304/316L or lined with purple copper, and are TIG welded. The inner tank lining Passivation Polishing accuracy reaches 0.4 um.
