The precious metal roasting furnace is designed for recovering precious metals from solid waste. The furnace utilizes pyrolysis gasification principles, where the waste undergoes anaerobic pyrolysis and gasification within the static roasting furnace, resulting in flue gas rich in combustible components like CO and CH4. After the combustible flue gas enters the secondary combustion chamber tangentially, it undergoes a vigorous mix and combustion with the secondary combustion air that is preheated and injected at high speed. The exit temperature of the flue gas from the secondary combustion chamber can reach 1100°C, ensuring complete combustion. The roasting treatment and flue gas treatment are designed as a system to ensure the safe and compliant discharge of exhaust gases.
The calcining furnace has the following advantages:
Widely adaptable to various shapes and sizes of waste; generally no pre-treatment like crushing is required for the materials.
(2) Waste undergoes static gasification and incineration within the furnace, resulting in minimal dust production. This not only significantly reduces the loss of precious metals carried away by the dust but also alleviates the burden on the subsequent flue gas purification equipment.
(3) Utilizes a single-loading, continuous-operation technology for waste handling, significantly reducing the contact between waste and operators, ensuring employee safety and greatly alleviating the physical strain on operators.
(4) High degree of automation; automatically adjusts fuel consumption; automatically adjusts the burner combustion state based on the exhaust gas temperature from the furnace and secondary combustion chamber outlet.
(5) Low equipment cost, short construction period, easy operation, small equipment footprint, and low civil engineering requirements.
(6) When the calorific value of the waste is above 3000 kcal, additional fuel is not required for combustion, and the central temperature at the outlet of the secondary chamber can reach 1150°C.
This system is a high-tech calcination treatment system that integrates the high-temperature stabilization calcination of precious metal waste, the effective utilization of thermal energy (consideration for recovering hot water or steam), the safe and compliant discharge of exhaust gases, and automated operation. This calcination technology has been widely applied domestically.
