Moreover, their use is quite straightforward. Below, we will discuss some usage tips and general requirements for using food delivery elevators:
Firstly, supervisors should ensure that service personnel from the elevator maintenance company pay attention to the following during routine maintenance:
1. After a period of operation, observe the oil window to add gear oil to the elevator traction machine
2. The food elevator guide rail should be kept lubricated.
3. The guide wheel and shaft of the food elevator should be kept lubricated with grease.
4. Prevent oil from accumulating on the traction rope of the food elevator to avoid slippage.
5. After a period of operation, if there is an issue with the leveling of the elevator, first check if the traction machine's brake clearance is correct and if the clamping screws are loose. Then, adjust the position of the leveling magnetic sensor to ensure accurate leveling.
6. When the dining elevator's floor door is stuck or cannot be opened, check for any issues with the door lock, gaps in the door slider, or if the door is tilted and stuck. Also, inspect if the door rope has come off the groove of the rope wheel.
If the elevator's door interlock switch is not functioning properly, the door may open or close while the occupied indicator light does not change accordingly. Please check for any faults with the door interlock switch.
8. Elevators must be inspected every six months.
