Rotary pumps, as volume pumps with simple working principles, compact sizes, light weights, and zero pollution, are not only suitable for transporting oil and powder liquid media but also have a vast market in industries such as petrochemicals, chemicals, and food processing. These pumps excel in conveying media containing solid particles, shear-sensitive substances, and high-viscosity fluids.

　　2. Due to the limitations of mechanical processing, the pump shaft cannot be too long, hence the pump head is lower, generally not exceeding 10 meters.

　　3. The difference in height between the suction face and the discharge face should not be excessive, otherwise it will affect work efficiency and increase energy consumption.

Disadvantages of gear pumps:

　　The slots between the teeth of the end caps and gears form numerous fixed sealing chambers, which can only be used for positive displacement pumps.

　　2. Radial force unbalance, large flow pulsation, and significant noise pollution.

　　3. Low efficiency, poor interchangeability of the working environment between parts, difficult to repair after wear, not suitable for variable pumps.

　　4. Not suitable for transporting high-temperature media (as the teeth will expand and get stuck).

　　5. Not suitable for conveying corrosive media, as stainless steel gears are not wear-resistant.

　　6. It is not suitable to transport media with very low viscosity, as leakage at the gear side and gear top will reduce the pump's efficiency.
