Integrated gate valve cast iron gate

Iron gate technical specifications, weight, and installation-related information:

Before installation, check the connection screws between the vertical and horizontal frames, as well as between the gates, for any loosening during transportation and handling. Ensure the joints are not misaligned and adjust them to form a flat surface. Inspect the gap between the gates and the gate slots, ensuring the gap does not exceed 0.08mm. If there is a gap, adjust the clamping device. Tighten all connecting bolts.

2. During installation, the gate is vertically inserted into the reserved groove. Place adjustment pads beneath the bottom of the side frames (prohibited under the cross beam). Secure the two side frames using a manual hoist and diagonal ties to stabilize them. Align and level the gate, insert anchor bolts through the bottom holes, adjust the gate's position, and support forms for the second-stage pouring.

3. During the concrete pouring process, any mortar that seeps into the spaces between the gate leaf, gate frame, slanted iron, and stoppers should be thoroughly cleaned to prevent the mortar from solidifying and affecting the gate's opening and closing.

4. Remove reinforcing elements. Before shipment, to ensure the gate leaf and frame fit tightly and reduce gaps upon installation, 4-6 clamping devices are installed on gates over 2 meters tall on the upper and lower frames. Note that after adjusting the gaps, remove the clamping devices to facilitate the opening and closing of the gate.

Cast Iron Gate Usage and Maintenance:

1. When opening or closing the gate, pay attention to the upper and lower limit positions of the gate leaf; do not exceed the limits to prevent damage to the gate or the opening/closing mechanism.

2. In case of any abnormalities during the opening and closing process, the gate should be immediately stopped and timely inspected and repaired.

3. The gate pauses for 2 minutes at a distance of 10 cm from the gate bottom upon closing, allowing the rapid current to clean any debris from the bottom gate groove, and then closes the gate again.
