Product Overview

Upward and downward cam-type rotor pump is primarily designed for pump inlet and outlet connection in special material feeding and discharging pipeline layouts. With the ability to self-priming when materials are present in the pipeline, it addresses the requirements of certain conveying conditions that necessitate pump self-priming. The other configurations of this pump can be referenced to the standard appearance type.

Product Introduction

A cam rotor pump is a positive displacement pump featuring a pair of cams rotating in opposite directions within the pump chamber. Our company has always been committed to integrating technology development with practical applications, continuously upgrading and refining our products. Based on years of research and experience, we have determined a series of rotor pumps suitable for various operating conditions: chemical, food, and general-purpose types, among others. Depending on the operating conditions and the medium being conveyed, the products are configured accordingly. This ensures that the cam rotor pump operates stably, efficiently, and safely across a wide range of applications, providing users with fluid transport solutions that meet actual operating requirements.

Operating Principle

The cam rotor pump features multiple chambers formed by two rotors and the pump body. As the two rotors rotate synchronously in opposite directions, these chambers cyclically expand and contract to transport fluids. The mechanical energy input to the pump's main shaft is converted into kinetic energy of the fluid being transported. The pump's flow rate depends on the volume of the working chamber and its frequency of change per unit time, and is theoretically unrelated to the discharge pressure. Driven by the drive shaft, the two rotors (with 1-8 blades) rotate synchronously in opposite directions. During rotation, they create suction (vacuum) at the inlet as the volume increases. Subsequently, the two rotors and the pump body form a fixed volume chamber, and as the volume decreases at the pump's outlet, the material is discharged, resulting in high vacuum and transport pressure.

Application Fields:

Fine Chemicals: Pigments, dyes, silicon oils, leather oils, various pastes, various adhesives, etc.

Food: syrup, honey, condensed milk, milk, yogurt, jam, jelly, lees, meat sauce, tomato juice, ice cream, seasonings, chocolate, flour paste, concentrated juice, soy protein, etc.

Papermaking: Filler, coating, starch paste, etc.

Textiles: PVA, polyester, artificial fibers, etc.

Product Features

Rotor and pump housing, with specific gaps between rotors, no contact, and no friction; the pump chamber has no vulnerable parts, resulting in a long service life.

No need to dismantle the pump from the pipeline; simply open the pump cover for online maintenance, saving time and offering convenience.

Friction-free pump cavity, low energy loss, low failure rate, reliable sealing, and low noise.

Can transport materials with poor flowability, such as high viscosity, high concentration, and soft solid particles.

The pump's output flow can be adjusted by varying the pump speed within a certain range, and it can be used as a general metering pump.

Available in various connection types including flanged, threaded, and clamp-style, with directional options for horizontal or vertical flow.

A wide range of material types for conveying.

Built-in thermal insulation and cooling structure design, excellent thermal conductivity, space-saving, easy installation.

Configurable hygienic safety valves and pump valves in one, effectively providing overpressure protection for the pipeline system.

Rubber rotor pumps are capable of conveying sludge, wastewater, and materials containing solid particles. For more details, refer to the rubber rotor pump introduction.
