Evaporative air coolers utilize the evaporation of spray water to absorb latent heat of vaporization, removing heat energy from the fluid inside the heat exchange tubes, thereby reducing the fluid temperature. As they rely on the evaporation of spray water for cooling, the vaporized water is carried out of the tower by the air, commonly known as evaporative air coolers. Their features include:

1. No evaporation in the circulating medium: Only temperature reduction, no evaporation or consumption. The circulating medium is completely isolated from external air, with no contact at all. This杜绝 evaporation and contamination, ensuring the stability of the internal medium composition.

 


2. Non-scaling: Due to no evaporation, the concentration of scaling ions such as calcium, magnesium, and sulfate in the internal circulating medium remains unchanged, hence scaling does not occur.

4. The equipment features four-sided air intake, low wind resistance, reduced fan power, and low noise.

5. Due to the spiral winding covering the tower cross-section, the total water flow area of the pipes is large, resulting in low frictional resistance along the pipeline, smaller pump head, reduced power consumption, and significant energy-saving effects.

6. In industrial enterprises, the use of closed cooling towers reduces the energy consumption due to no head loss, minimizing the kinetic energy waste in driving the water circulation, thereby saving power and electrical energy.
