Overview

Standard MicrocrystallineCOD Dissolver, featuring glass burr reflux tubes in place of spherical reflux tubes, and utilizing air-cooling technology instead of tap water cooling. The cooling section is mainly composed of a burr condenser tube and a fan. The upper part of the condenser tube is spherical, where the catalyst is added to prevent the instantaneous volatilization of light components in the sample. The lower part is burr-shaped, with three opposing spherical condenser tubes extending from the condenser tube wall on a single plane. Combined with the cooling water in the upper spherical reflux tube and the action of the internal fan, this ensures the sample's回流 cooling.

Instrument structure

The instrument is mainly composed of the body, reflux tube, fan, and microcrystal heating plate.Comprising of 4 main parts, it utilizes microcomputer PID technology for timing control of the heating furnace plate and fan, allowing simultaneous heating of 8 cone-shaped flask reflux devices.

Chemical Solution Preparation and Operation of the InstrumentCOD calculations strictly comply with the (HJ828-2017) Chromic Acid Method. Water samples with COD levels below 50mg/L can enhance accuracy by diluting the titrant and oxidizing agents. For water samples with COD levels above 700mg/L, proportional dilution of the water sample is used to complete the measurement.
