Inspection | Sinopec Pump Expert Group Visits, Praises DePam!

Recently, a Sinopec pump and machinery expert team visited DePam for an on-site inspection, gaining in-depth understanding of the company's technical level, production capacity, and product types. DePam's Chairman Zhou Liang and other relevant department heads accompanied them. Both parties engaged in discussions and shared insights on breakthroughs in key core technologies of pumps and product applications.

The Sinopec pump and machinery expert group successively visited the DePam exhibition hall, the automated production line, and the intelligent simulation testing laboratory. The company has gained a comprehensive understanding of DePam's research and design of high-temperature and high-pressure reciprocating pumps, their application advantages, production manufacturing processes, and automation and intelligent production management. Also, we gained a direct understanding of DePam's comprehensive layout in import substitution and industrial upgrading.

During the tour, the production department head noted that demand equals value. As the demand for pump equipment transitions from general needs and reliance on imports to personalized, domestically-made alternatives, the key capability lies in continually iterating and innovating service solutions.

DePam's ability to expand in scale while diversifying its product range, and consistently stay ahead in the industry, stems from its inherent innovative spirit.

During the visit, experts highly commended the DePam high-efficiency pump products applied in oil refining. Especially, the newly developed and designed domestic reciprocating pump by DePam, capable of withstanding 270℃ high temperature and high pressure, boasts several key core technologies and systematically resolves challenges such as high-temperature and corrosion-resistant materials, and sealing. The issue has garnered the focused attention of the expert group.

At the conclusion of the inspection, the expert team expressed full recognition of DePam's independent research and development capabilities and innovative achievements, also sensing the significant changes achieved in our industrial upgrade. We hope to build upon our existing strong and excellent cooperative projects, and actively seek new opportunities for collaboration. By taking collaborative innovation as the path, we will focus on advancing key core technology breakthroughs and solving "chokepoint" issues, continuously consolidating our cooperative achievements.
