The Cruise Service Virtual Simulation Teaching Resource Platform aims primarily to assist in maritime services, stewarding, and cruise specialty education. The platform is modeled after the Asian cruise ship "Ocean Voyager," simulating in 1:1 scale the cruise's overall appearance, deck, swimming pool, conference rooms, theater, restaurant, bar, café, and cabin areas—key tourist and service scenarios of the cruise. Students and teachers can gain a comprehensive understanding of the cruise's structure, layout, and general service scenarios within the classroom. They can quickly switch scenes, navigate freely, and interact from multiple angles in the virtual environment using tools like keyboards and mice. Within the system, they can complete set service tasks such as front desk reception, catering reception, cabin service, product sales, and emergency drills.
The launch of the 3D simulation teaching and training resource platform for cruise services has resolved the issue of single teaching methods in China's cruise and maritime crew industries. With more advanced technology and equipment, the education of cruise professionals has moved beyond the PPT era, entering a new virtual cruise era. The 3D visuals and realistic 3D sound effects transform dry textbooks into engaging interactive experiences, boosting students' interest in learning and allowing them to fully immerse themselves, ensuring a better learning state.
The platform brings professional teaching from books to screens, from flat to 3D, truly opening the door to practical teaching for both teachers and students. It enables learners to acquire practical knowledge and skills, fundamentally enhancing the teaching quality of cruise education.
