The waveguide ventilation windows utilize the principle of waveguide band-pass filtering to shield electromagnetic waves, allowing waves above the cutoff frequency to pass through while attenuating those below the cutoff frequency. The attenuation amount (shielding effectiveness) is directly proportional to the length of the waveguide. Hexagonal waveguide ventilation windows are commonly used, consisting of many small cutoff waveguides arranged in a bundle with a hexagonal cross-section. Standard sizes include 10mm, 5mm, and 3.2mm. As a multifunctional product that meets overall requirements for electromagnetic shielding, ventilation, environmental, and mechanical performance, it has been widely applied in various electronic devices requiring high shielding effectiveness. It addresses both the heat dissipation and ventilation needs of the equipment and provides high electromagnetic shielding performance. By using the principle of cutoff waveguides, it resolves the contradiction between ventilation and shielding while also solving the heat dissipation issue. Product Advantages: The waveguide sheet is assembled using a new vacuum brazing process; the materials for the honeycomb core and frame include: steel, aluminum alloy, copper, and stainless steel; surface coating: after conductive oxidation, it can be plated with tin, nickel, zinc, or chrome to enhance screen efficiency and corrosion resistance in harsh environments.
