The leachate equalization pond project at a certain landfill in Chenzhou City, Hunan Province, with a total storage capacity of 16,000 cubic meters, utilizes a 1.5mm smooth geomembrane + 600g long-fiber geotextile for the impermeable structure. Post-construction, a leak detection of the geomembrane was conducted, revealing three virtual weld leakage points. After repairs, the site passed retesting.
