The project in Golmud City, Qinghai Province, is a tailings dam for an aluminum mine, featuring a newly constructed landfill with an area of 400,000 square meters. In accordance with the "General Industrial Solid Waste Storage and Landfill Pollution Control Standards" (GB18599-2020), soil membrane leakage detection was conducted during the construction process using the electric spark testing method. The detection was effective, identifying five leakage points due to mechanical damage. After repairs, the re-measurement results were confirmed by the owner, supervisory, and construction parties.
