Product Introduction
TMC-131 is a single-alkoxy fatty acid titanate coupling agent, with the corresponding foreign brand name being KR-TTS (from the U.S. Kenrich Chemical Company). This product is a white, granular solid that dissolves in isopropyl alcohol, toluene, xylene, and mineral oil, and undergoes hydrolysis when contacted with water.

Application
This is a solid titanate coupling agent, highly reactive during treatment of fillers, with excellent dispersibility and good thermal stability. It resolves the issues of stickiness and yellowing in aluminate-treated fillers, making it an outstanding surface treatment agent for inorganic materials.
1. For Polyethylene Film: This product is suitable for polyethylene film, treating starch, talc, and calcium carbonate, with excellent heat stability. It does not bubble during blowing film, the filler disperses easily, and has good mechanical properties.
2. Polyolefin Materials: This product is used to treat fillers such as calcium carbonate, talc, titanium dioxide, aluminum hydroxide, fly ash, clay, carbon black, ferrites, etc. Filling polyolefins like PP, PE, PVC, with active fillers can enhance the mechanical properties of the products, particularly impact strength and elongation. It also reduces the melt viscosity of composite materials, improves processing characteristics, decreases mechanical wear, and increases production efficiency. It can improve the thermal stability, surface smoothness, and dimensional stability of the composites. It can increase the filler content, reduce the amount of resin used, and lower costs.
3. Rubber Products: This product can be used in various rubber products to enhance their tear resistance and elongation at break. It is particularly effective in the following systems: calcium carbonate-polythio rubber, carbon black-natural rubber, calcium hydroxide-fluororubber, silicon dioxide/silica rock-silicone rubber, and silicon dioxide-oxygen sulfide polyethylene.
4. Paint Additive: This product is used in paints to increase solids content, reduce viscosity, and provide the coating with wear resistance and corrosion resistance, while also lowering baking temperature and shortening baking time.
5. Magnetic Record Material & Rubber Magnetic: The magnetic powder treated with this product improves its dispersion on the base material and adhesion to polymers, significantly increasing the magnetic powder content. This results in the magnetic record material having better fluidity, coating ability, high shear strength, low magnetic defects, and good toughness.
