The stem is made from cast cobalt-chromium-molybdenum alloy, with the proximal section of the shank featuring a fish scale pattern, the middle to proximal section coated with hydroxyapatite, and the distal end polished. This product is for single-use and is available in sterile or non-sterile versions, with the sterile products being sterilized by cobalt-60 irradiation.
