Application Process
Step 1: Submit Application Documents
Fill out the ECTN Application Form
2. Herbal Ocean Bill of Lading (DRAFT B/L COPY)
3. Commercial Invoice (Shipped with Shipper's Seal)
4. Ocean Freight Invoice (Agent's Seal)
5. TI File (Latest requirement from the Republic of the Congo, obtain from the consignee; typically at least 2 pages)
Step 2: Our company issues an official payment slip
Our company will generate a document upon receiving the aforementioned files.Payment SlipPlease provide the applicant with payment promptly.
Step 3: Applicant makes payment, our company prepares the herbal product
Applicant to provide payment receipt. Our company will issue a draft for verification upon confirmation of receipt.
Step 4: Applicant confirms herbal certificate and completes additional materials
Original Sea Waybill (B/L COPY)
2. Scanned copy of stamped commercial invoice
3. Scanned copy of stamped marine freight invoice
Please provide the above documents in PDF format, and ensure that the files do not exceed 200K.
Step 5: Our company issues the original certificate
[Note] Due to the Democratic Republic of the CongoGovernmentThe TI document review process commenced officially on December 13, 2014. The certificate issued must match the information in the TI document. In case the TI document issues prevent the issuance of the original certificate, please contact the consignee at the destination port to modify the TI document. Afterward, return the revised TI document to our company for further approval and reissuance.
Payment and Invoicing
Currently, we only accept payment in RMB.
We issue electronic ordinary invoices with a tax rate of 1%.
Please note
• Each bill of lading requires at least one ECTN certificate and URN number.
The original ECTN (in PDF format) approved by the authorities will be sent to you via email. You are required to print this document or forward the attachment to the consignee at the port of discharge, freight forwarder, or shipping company, etc.
• The CTNs for the Congo must be processed within 5 working days of the ship's departure; otherwise, a penalty of 50% of the application fee will be incurred for any delay.
Original Certificate for your information
URN/ECTN, BESC) numbers will be sent to the applicant's email once the number becomes effective.
Applicants must forward this number to the consignee at the destination port, freight forwarders, or shipping companies, etc.
