Common high-temperature bearing steels include: Molybdenum series: Cr4M04V, Cr15M04, 9Cr18Mo, Cr14M04; Tungsten series: W9Cr4V2Mo, W18Cr4V; Tungsten-molybdenum series: W6MoSCr4V2. High-temperature bearing steels such as W, Cr, V, Mo can form refractory carbides at high temperatures and can precipitate dispersed carbides during tempering, producing a secondary hardening effect, which maintains high hardness, wear resistance, strong oxidation resistance, high fatigue resistance, and dimensional stability at certain temperatures. Among high-temperature bearing steels, Cr4M04V and W18Cr4V are most commonly used. High-temperature bearing steels should not only possess the general properties of bearing steels but also exhibit high-temperature hardness, high-temperature wear resistance, high-temperature contact fatigue strength, oxidation resistance, high-temperature impact resistance, and stability of high-temperature performance. Bearings are produced from different materials based on operational requirements. Ceramic Material: Zirconia ceramic, silicon nitride ceramic, silicon carbide ceramic, usually combined with steel bearings; ceramic materials maintain hardness unchanged at 1500°C, and when used in combination, they can address the fragility of all-ceramic bearings during installation, while also withstanding high temperatures, allowing for oil-free use above 500°C. Graphite: A common high-temperature lubricant material used in low-speed conditions up to 500°C, featuring graphite retainer bearings and graphite block lubricated bearings with excellent and stable lubricating properties at high temperatures. Zinc Alloy: A type of alloy, also known as zinc-based alloy, primarily composed of zinc and other elements, enhancing casting properties, corrosion resistance, high-temperature resistance, and high plasticity, mainly used for bearing housing materials. Bearing Steel: Achieved through heat treatment for high-temperature resistance, generally used in conditions up to 300°C. These materials exhibit significant advantages in high-temperature conditions, with higher loads, no seizing, severe deformation, or retainer breakage!
