Pursuant to the provisions of the "Announcement on Implementing Compulsory Product Certification Management for Commercial Gas Combustion Appliances and Other Products" issued by the Administration for Market Regulation, the Administration has decided to implement compulsory product certification (i.e., CCC certification) management for commercial gas combustion appliances and other products.

This announcement specifies the requirements for explosion-proof lighting fixtures and control devices as follows:

As of May 1, 2025, explosion-proof lighting fixtures and control devices listed in the CCC certification catalog shall be subject to CCC certification and bear the CCC certification mark before they can be manufactured, sold, imported, or used in any business activities.

2. As of May 1, 2024, designated certification bodies will begin to accept CCC certification assignments. The certification and testing work involved will be handled by certification bodies and laboratories that are already qualified for the explosion-proof electrical designated business.
