Many people only know that the purpose of a pure water machine and its equipment is to produce pure water. But what procedures does a pure water machine go through before transforming raw water into pure water? Generally, pure water is produced by passing through a raw water tank, raw water pump, quartz sand filter, activated carbon filter, softener, reverse osmosis, high-pressure pump, pure water tank, water supply system, and water usage point, at which point the water production process is truly complete.
1. Raw Water Tank - Made of Sanitary PE material, this tank serves as a storage for raw water and also functions as a transitional buffer tank, supplying sufficient water pressure and flow to the pretreatment section. The tank is equipped with high and low-level control switches; the high-level switch controls the raw water inlet solenoid valve; the low-level switch controls the reverse osmosis system. The Changzhou Pure Water Equipment tank is fitted with an overflow port, and in case of a high-level switch failure, excess water will overflow. A cleaning discharge port is also provided for easy cleaning and protection after long-term operation.
2. Raw Water Pump - The raw water booster pump is used to increase the operating pressure and flow rate of the pretreatment section of the system, featuring low energy consumption, low noise operation, and stable performance.
3. Fully Automatic Quartz Sand Filter - The quartz sand filter features automatic backwashing and rinsing functions. The filter body is typically made of FRP reinforced fiberglass. The filter is filled with refined quartz sand, primarily designed to remove iron oxide, silt, suspended particles, and other granular substances from water, reducing the incoming SDI (Silt Density Index) value.
4. Fully Automatic Activated Carbon Filter - The activated carbon filter features automatic backwashing and rinsing functions. The filter tank is made of FRP reinforced glass fiber. The filter is filled with fruit shell activated carbon, primarily to remove residual chlorine, colorants, odors, and organic matter from the raw water.
5. Full-Automatic Softening Filter - The softening filter features automatic operation with backwashing, brine tank salt replenishment, and rinse functions. The filter tank is made of FRP reinforced fiberglass. Inside, it is filled with recyclable cation exchange resins, which have strong adsorption capabilities for metal ions such as calcium carbonate, magnesium carbonate, calcium sulfate, and magnesium sulfate in water.
6. Reverse Osmosis Membrane Elements - The RO membrane of water purification equipment can remove the above-mentioned dissolved solids, organic matter, colloids, and bacteria. The high desalination function of the RO membrane can completely eliminate the TOC, SiO2, and other substances that were difficult to remove in the previous pure water production process.
7. High-Pressure Pump - The reverse osmosis high-pressure pump utilizes multi-stage vertical stainless steel high-pressure pumps to provide the necessary pressure and flow for the reverse osmosis membrane. It features high flow rate, high pressure, non-polluting, low noise, and low energy consumption.
