Laboratory wastewater treatment is often overlooked, and chemical laboratory wastewater poses certain environmental pollution. The wastewater generated from scientific research institutions, environmental monitoring centers, and drug inspection facilities is highly harmful. With the increasing amount of chemical laboratory wastewater, many laboratories simply discharge untreated wastewater into the sewers. Given the complex composition of experimental wastewater, which contains a high concentration of acids, alkalis, hexavalent chromium, arsenic compounds, phenols, benzene, and other toxic and harmful substances, direct discharge is bound to pollute the potable water and living environment. It is imperative to find an economical, efficient, energy-saving, and environmentally friendly treatment process for chemical laboratory wastewater.

Equipment Features:

1. Utilizes a biological contact oxidation treatment process, which is smaller in volume than an activated sludge pool, highly adaptable, with excellent shock load resistance, stable effluent water quality, and no sludge bulking.

2. The filling material has a large specific surface area, making it easy for microorganisms to form and shed biofilms. Under the same organic load, it achieves a high removal rate of organic matter, is stable and reliable, and does not require the addition of chemicals, thereby saving subsequent costs and reducing operating expenses.

3. Hydrolytic acidification can effectively treat wastewater with hemoglobin, decompose large molecular organic matter, and reduce the subsequent treatment load.

4. Achieves excellent sedimentation effect, resulting in high-quality effluent water.

5. Disinfection treatment with a removal rate exceeding 99.4%;

6. Properly manage remaining sludge to ensure stable and reliable system operation, facilitate mud discharge, and reduce manual operations.

7. Utilizes a unique construction method to significantly reduce the spread of odors.

8. Simple operation management, allowing for adjustments in operating conditions based on actual situations to achieve optimal performance.

9. High purification efficiency, BOD removal rate up to 85% to 90%, effluent meets Class 2 or Class 1 discharge standards.

Safety Precautions for Collecting and Storing Waste Liquids:

1). When the concentration of waste liquid exceeds a certain level, it must be treated. However, when the treatment facilities are comprehensive, the concentration limit for waste liquid treatment is often relaxed.

2). First, treat the waste liquids individually. If they are stored and then processed together, the methods will vary, but compounds that can be collectively treated should be collected and processed accordingly.

3). When dealing with waste liquids containing complexes or chelates, if there are interfering components present, collect the waste liquids containing these components separately.

4). The following waste liquids should not be mixed with each other: ① Peroxides with organic substances; ② Cyanides, sulfides, hypochlorites, and acids; ③ Volatile acids such as hydrochloric acid with non-volatile acids; ④ Concentrated sulfuric acid, sulfonic acids, hydroxy acids, polyphosphates, and other acids; ⑤ Ammonium salts, volatile amines, and alkalis.

5). Choose containers that are not damaged and not susceptible to corrosion from waste liquids for collection. Label the composition and concentration of the collected waste liquids clearly and store them in a safe location. Pay particular attention to highly toxic waste liquids.

6). Waste liquids emitting odors such as mercaptans, amines, and those releasing toxic gases like cyanide, as well as highly flammable liquids, should be appropriately treated to prevent leakage and disposed of as soon as possible.

7). Waste liquids containing explosive substances like peroxides should be handled with caution and disposed of as soon as possible.

8). Waste containing radioactive materials should be collected separately and handled strictly in accordance with relevant regulations to prevent leakage and do so with caution. ②Even though it is an organic waste liquid, it also contains substances listed under inorganic waste liquids. If the concentration of inorganic substances exceeds the concentration listed under the inorganic category, this waste liquid should be collected separately. ③The concentration of organic waste liquids refers to the concentration of the liquid waste containing water.
