Small Reverse Osmosis Water Treatment Equipment - Flow Rate 0.5-3T/H - Membrane Separation Equipment - Quankun
Equipment Introduction:
Nanofiltration is a membrane separation technology that lies between ultrafiltration and reverse osmosis, with a molecular weight cut-off range of 200-1000 and pore sizes of a few nanometers. Since this membrane retains approximately 95% of molecules around 1 nanometer in size during the osmosis process, it is termed "nanofiltration." Owing to the superior characteristics of nanofiltration technology, it shows great application prospects in fields such as water treatment, biochemical, and food industries. One significant feature of nanofiltration membranes is that the membrane itself is charged, which is a key reason for their high desalination performance at low pressures and the ability to remove inorganic salts even with a molecular weight cut-off of hundreds.

Nanofiltration equipment features:
According to the specific needs of the customer, permeate from the nanofiltration membrane can be recovered, and the membrane elements can be restored to their optimal performance after cleaning, fully realizing the economic efficiency of the membrane equipment. Different membrane configurations are selected based on process technical requirements and specific user needs to ensure the retention performance of membrane elements within various systems, as well as the stability and reliability of the entire membrane system's operation. The system can achieve desalination and concentration of materials simultaneously at lower operating pressures, with a short production cycle, thorough desalination, and high purity and stable quality of the final product.

The process is maintained at room temperature throughout, with no phase changes, and has no adverse effects on any active components of the material. Particularly suitable for the treatment of thermosensitive substances, the resulting product has a high concentration of active ingredients. It can proceed to the next stage of production or be dried directly, as per process requirements.

Operating Principle:
Nanofiltration (NF) is a pressure-driven membrane separation process that falls between reverse osmosis (RO) and ultrafiltration, with the pore size of NF membranes ranging around a few nanometers. Most NF membranes are derived from RO membranes, such as CA, CTA membranes, aromatic polyamide composite membranes, and sulfonated polyether sulfone membranes, etc. However, compared to RO, it operates at a lower pressure, hence NF is also referred to as "Low Pressure RO" or "Loose RO."
