Polyethylene storage tanks are ideal containers for storing corrosive chemical liquids, ambient temperature solutions, and more. When transporting them, be mindful of the following points:
1. PE tank equipment must not be stacked on other objects to prevent uneven distribution of stress on the structural parts and interior of the plastic tank equipment.
To prevent the PE tank equipment from swinging out of control during hoisting, a guide rope should be tied at the top of the tank for position adjustment.
3. Handle operations with care to prevent tools, scaffolding, or other sharp objects from striking plastic storage tank equipment. Operators entering PE storage tank equipment should wear soft-soled shoes. When using ladders, the contact areas with plastic anti-corrosion equipment should be expanded to prevent surface scratches or excessive local loads.
4. When hoisting PE storage tank equipment, it is recommended to use a high-tensile webbing or hoisting rope (diameter over 25mm) at the tank lifting ring. When adjusting the tank position with a forklift or crane, it is advisable to use forks with soft pads.
Many users have inquired about the processing technology for PE tanks. Due to the varying methods used by different manufacturers, we have provided the following knowledge explanation for this issue:
1. Structure, diameter, and length should comply with the blow molding machine process requirements.
2. The PE tank must have sufficient overall stability, uniformity, and adequate plane bending rigidity on the foundation.
3. The ears, legs, and horizontal supports should be焊接 only after the plastic lining process is completed.
4. The stiffness of the foundation structure just below the can wall should be enhanced. The bedding supporting the bottom plate should be flexible to absorb welding deformation. It is advisable to install a waterproof and oil-separation layer, as well as an oil-leakage signal pipe.
5. The distance between the groundwater level and the base surface of the PE tank must not be less than the height that capillary water can reach (usually 2 meters).
