Electromagnetic lifting devices on steel plate cutting lines are specifically designed for handling medium and thick plates, as well as wide and thick plates. Considering that long steel plates may bend and deform during lifting, affecting safe transportation, we typically use multiple lifting devices in tandem when handling such steel plates. Depending on the specifications of the steel plates (length, width, thickness) and the crane's lifting capacity, we select lifting electromagnets of different specifications.
During the tandem lifting process, the following measures should be taken: 1. The connection between the beam and the lifting electromagnetic iron uses a special adaptive mechanism; 2. For steel plates with a thickness less than 20mm, use light-tonnage, multi-point arrangement, and place two units along the width of the steel plate to minimize the impact of unevenness on the steel plate, reduce the working air gap, and increase the suction force; 3. Implement magnetic control adjustment to ensure that only one steel plate is lifted at a time.
