Epoxy fiberglass reinforced plastic
1、 Product Introduction
The epoxy fiberglass protective layer is composed of epoxy resin and fiberglass cloth. Mainly used on the exterior of other anti-corrosion coatings to provide wear resistance and mechanical protection. The epoxy fiberglass protective layer can protect the anti-corrosion layer below it from damage, thereby avoiding corrosion of the pipeline due to the failure of the anti-corrosion layer. Its classic application scenarios include directional drilling crossing protection, rock section anti-corrosion layer protection, cross bridge pipe culvert anti-corrosion layer protection, composite welding joint anti-corrosion protection, pipeline fulcrum anti-corrosion layer protection, etc.
The anti-corrosion layer structure of the crossing section includes: three-layer structure of polyethylene+epoxy fiberglass, double-layer fusion bonded epoxy powder+epoxy fiberglass, and other anti-corrosion layers+epoxy fiberglass.
2、 Product Features
The structure of the epoxy fiberglass protective layer generally consists of two layers of cloth and five layers of oil, with a total thickness of not less than 1.2mm. The design unit may increase the number of layers of fiberglass cloth and the thickness of fiberglass appropriately according to engineering needs, such as three layers of cloth and seven layers of oil, with a total thickness of not less than 1.5mm.
When epoxy fiberglass is used for the exterior of 3PE anti-corrosion coating, the 3PE surface needs to be roughened and flame polarized. The epoxy fiberglass protective layer after construction needs to undergo visual flatness, thickness, hardness, and bonding strength testing. Only after passing the test can it be put into use.
