Performance and Application

1. Soluble in water, the solution is milky white, and it is not resistant to strong acids, bases, heavy metal salts, and reducing agents. It has rapid and even penetration, excellent wetting, penetration, emulsification, and foaming properties. The penetration effect is good below 40°C, and it is more prone to hydrolysis when exposed to alkalis at high temperatures. It is advisable to treat the fabric with a penetrant first at temperatures below 40°C before increasing the temperature. Penetrant T is not resistant to strong bases and should not be directly added to concentrated alkali solutions; instead, the alkali solution should be diluted first before adding Penetrant T.

2. This product is an efficient penetrant, designed for treating cotton, linen, viscose, and their blended fabrics. After treatment, the fabric can be directly bleached or dyed without retting, improving dye defects caused by dead cotton, resulting in a softer and fuller feel of the fabric after printing and dyeing. When practicing open-end bleaching, it's best to exhaust the dye first to ensure the penetration effect.

3. If too much foam is observed when using Penetrant T, a small amount of defoamer can be added, such as GP or octanol, tributyl phosphate, and similar defoamers.

4. For raw cotton dyeing; used in wettable powder pesticides.

Packaging and Storage

200Kg/50Kg plastic drums packaging. Store and transport as general chemicals. Keep in a dry, well-ventilated area. Shelf life: 2 years.
