Chemical CompositionAlkylphenol polyoxyethylene ether
CategoryModelNon-ionic
【HLB Value11.5~12.5 (Theoretical Value)
Technical Specifications
Appearance: Micro-yellow to colorless viscous liquid (as observed at 25°C)
pH Value: 5.0~7.0 (1% water solution)
Cloud Point: 40~50℃ (1% water solution)
Penetration: ≤60 seconds (0.1% solution), ≥100% of the standard product (JFC)
【Performance and Features】
1. Easily soluble in water, with excellent permeability, and above the cloud point, it does not affect permeability.
2. Used as an penetrant in the textile industry, suitable for sizing, desizing, scouring, bleaching, carbonization, etc. Can serve as an assistive penetrant in dyeing and finishing baths.
3. Leather industry: acts as an penetrant and also as a degreaser.
4. Offers strong wool washing capabilities, easily removes various oils, and feels soft to the touch.
ShouldUsed】
1. Penetration: In various processes such as textile, dyeing, and finishing, where anionic penetrant cannot be used, this additive can be selected. The dosage is generally 1~5g/L.
2. Desizing: When using bio-enzyme desizing (starch size), adding JFC can accelerate the desizing process, typically at a dosage of about 0.1% of the liquid weight.
3. Fiber Refining: During the refining of acetate fiber and other synthetic fibers, adding 2-5g/L of JFC and 5g/L of sodium chloride to the refining solution can enhance the refining efficiency.
4. Wool Clean Wash: The penetrant JFC has wool-cleaning capabilities and leaves no residue on the wool, ensuring no yellowing or defects. The fiber feels soft as well. This penetrant can be used in neutral, alkaline, or acidic environments and can be mixed with soap in hard water or used alone. The ideal temperature for use is between 40-50°C.
5. Wool Carbonization: In wool carbonization, add penetrant JFC at 0.5~1g/L to shorten carbonization time, reduce acidity, and enhance carbonization effectiveness.
