Product Performance

1. A cationic surfactant, readily soluble in water and acetone, butanol, benzene, chloroform, dimethylformamide, dioxane, ethanol, methyl (ethyl or butyl), cellulose solvent, and acetic acid and water at room temperature. It dissolves in carbon tetrachloride, dichloroethane, styrene, etc., at 50°C.

2. Stable to 5% dilute acids and alkalis; decomposes above 180°C.

3. Can be mixed with cationic and non-ionic surfactants, but not suitable for use with anionic surfactants in the same bath.

Product Applications

1. Effective for static elimination in spinning of synthetic fibers like polyester, nylon, and polyvinyl chloride, offering excellent antistatic properties. The antistatic agent SN can be used alone or mixed with non-ionic surfactant oils and emulsifiers to form a water solution. Passing the fiber bundles through this emulsion eliminates static electricity, with the typical dosage being 0.2~0.5% of the fiber weight.

2. Suitable as a leveling agent for polypropylene nitrile.

3. Static eliminator for plastic industry, suitable for polyvinyl chloride, polyethylene film, and plastic products. Dissolve the antistatic agent SN in an appropriate solvent, mix with a small amount of plastic powder, dry, then add this material to the entire plastic powder, process as usual, with a general recommended dosage of 0.5~2% of the plastic weight.

Packaging and Storage
