Porous concrete flooring is composed of aggregates, cement, and water. It commonly uses single-size or intermittent-size coarse aggregates as the framework, with the fine aggregate content generally controlled within 20% of the total aggregates. Cement options include silicate cement, ordinary silicate cement, and slag silicate cement; admixtures are selected from the special reinforcing agents produced by Shanghai Jingqi Landscape Technology Co., Ltd.
When adding materials, first place cement, admixtures, and coarse aggregates, then add half the water requirement and mix for 30 seconds; next, add additives and mix for 60 seconds; finally, add the remaining water and mix for 120 seconds before discharging. Permeable paving has been researched and applied in the United States since the late 1970s and 1980s. Many countries are widely promoting it, like Germany, which expects to transform 90% of its roads into permeable paving in the short term. This change aims to alter the past ground coverings that destroyed urban ecosystems, enabling permeable paving to yield extensive social benefits.

a. Subgrade Treatment: Clean the subgrade surface, ensuring it is free of dust, twigs, paper debris, and other debris. Moisten the subgrade surface before laying.
b. Fabric: Consider compacted预留height when laying permeable paving. When using manual fabric for permeable paving, use a shovel to reverse the pile; throwing is strictly prohibited. If the laying time of permeable paving exceeds 30 minutes or during strong wind conditions, cover the concrete on site with plastic sheeting to prevent rapid moisture loss from the permeable paving.
c. Vibrating Compaction: After the plain color permeable flooring fabric is completed, it is leveled with a trowel and then compacted using a flat plate vibrator. Once the vibration is done, lay the colored permeable flooring or colored aggregate permeable concrete on the surface. Level it, promptly replenish any missing materials, and use specialized permeable flooring equipment for surface vibration and leveling until it is flush with the mold.
d. Surface Finishing: Promptly trim the edges of the compacted surface with permeable concrete. For areas with insufficient material, fill and level the surface. For drier sections, first spray a uniform layer of water, then add material for finishing.
e. After the pervious concrete has exposed aggregate and the surface is smooth and compact to the required density, spray and brush a cleaning agent evenly across the surface. Then, cover it with a plastic film. Six to eight hours after spraying (depending on the weather), use a high-pressure water jet to rinse the surface. When rinsing, ensure the cleaning agent is thoroughly removed without any loss of aggregates.
f. Maintenance: After the surface of the permeable paving is finished, it should be watered lightly and covered with a plastic film for maintenance. The maintenance period is the same as that of normal concrete. During maintenance, barriers should be set around the road surface, and it is strictly prohibited for people or vehicles to enter.
