1. Corrosion Resistance: The corrosion resistance of "55% aluminum-zinc coated steel coil" stems from the barrier protective function of aluminum and the sacrificial protective function of zinc. When zinc sacrifices itself in the cut edges, scratches, and coating abrasions, aluminum forms an insoluble oxide layer, which acts as a barrier protection. Aluminum-zinc alloy coated steel coils have undergone over 20 years of outdoor exposure tests in various atmospheric environments, proving that the cut edge protection of 55% aluminum-zinc coated steel plates is superior to galvanized steel plates and 5% aluminum-zinc coated steel plates. 2. Heat Resistance: The heat resistance of 55% aluminum-zinc alloy steel plates is better than that of galvanized steel plates, similar to the high-temperature oxidation resistance of aluminum-coated steel plates. Aluminum-zinc alloy steel plates can be used in high-temperature environments up to 315 degrees Celsius. 3. Reflectivity: The 55% aluminum-zinc alloy steel plate has a high reflectivity, making it an effective thermal barrier; the thermal reflectivity of aluminum-zinc coated steel plates is almost twice that of galvanized steel plates, thus, even without painting, they can serve as roofs and panels for energy-saving purposes. 4. Paintability: Due to the excellent adhesion between the zinc layer of aluminum-zinc coated steel plates and paint, painting is not required to be pre-treated or weathered when used as signboards or for general purposes; whereas galvanized steel plates require weathering and pre-treatment.
