Technical Data of龙门Grinding Machine Steel Plate Guard
The protective cover is made from high-quality 2-3mm thick cold-rolled steel plate, and can also be made of stainless steel upon request. The special surface polishing adds additional value.
We offer the corresponding guide rail protection types (horizontal, vertical, inclined, transverse) for all types of machine tools.
Our protective cover structures vary based on the operating speed and the type of guide rail. For speeds below 10m/min, we use polyamide or brass sliders.
Rollers are installed at speeds below 30m/min. Additionally, a buffer system is required between the drive plate, chip scraper, and chip suction plate. The purpose of the slider buffer system is to reduce collisions, noise, and friction.
The number of sections for the steel guard of the gantry grinding machine is crucial to its proportion, weight, and operational characteristics. Each individual section should be as long as possible to minimize the number of sections and reduce costs.
Generally, the ratio of large elongation to small compression should be between 3:1 and 5:1.
Advantages of the device:
1. Each protective shield can be actuated simultaneously, *differing from the conventional shields that are pulled one after another, thus resulting in extremely low noise.
2. The protective cover of the device can extend its service life.
3. The steel plate guard device allows the guard to reach a speed of 120m/min and withstand higher G-values (up to 2G).
4. The steel plate protective cover device allows the cover to move synchronously and parallelly (avoiding the drawback of the general shear-type protective cover still having a snake-like movement).
5. At high speeds, it operates more smoothly without any vibration.
Structural Options:
Reasonably priced standard structure (1) suitable for most application industries; widths up to 900mm; must be folded over for wider widths to enhance lateral stability.
This can accommodate the ridge shape (3) and folded edge (4). Additionally, the sloped design (2) effectively allows liquids and debris to flow away.
The number of sections for the steel telescopic protective cover is crucial for its proportions, weight, and operational characteristics. Each individual section should be as long as possible to minimize the number of sections and reduce costs.
Generally, the stretch-to-compression ratio should be between 3:1 and 5:1 (with a high limit of 10:1).
