Flexible accordion-style guide rail protector, commonly known as "Skin Tiger."
It is a type of machine tool guard, and the pleated guard can be designed into various styles as per actual requirements.
Dimensions can be custom-made to suit actual needs. The outer material is German nylon fabric, lined with PVC board for support. Both ends are equipped with metal or plastic connecting frames for fixation.
These guards feature compact design, long travel, and are oil and corrosion-resistant, maintaining their shape even after hard impacts.
It boasts features like long lifespan, tight sealing, smooth movement, and durability, providing perfect performance for machine tools.
The features of the machine tool accordion guard:
1. These protective guards feature characteristics such as being resistant to foot traffic, not deforming under impact from hard objects, long service life, good sealing, and easy operation.
2. The accordion-style protective cover has a long stroke and a compact design, with a length ratio of 1:10.
3. The distance between the guide surface of the machinery and the protective cover is between 5mm and 10mm.
4. The size of the hood when the pleated surface is opened is equal to twice the height of the pleat, and the compressed pleat thickness is 4mm.
5. Standard Crease Height: 15mm, 20mm, 30mm, 35mm, 40mm, 45mm, 50mm.
6. The product uses materials that are resistant to coolants, oil, grinding wheel chips, and iron filings, etc.
7. The advantages of a long stroke and small compression for protective guards.
8. The guard cover's blower speed can reach 200m/min.
9. The guard housing contains no metal parts, so there's no need to worry about loose components during operation that could cause severe damage to the machine.
Three manufacturing methods:
Flexible accordion-style protective covers are a customizable product line, with materials, shape, processing methods, and dimensions that can be tailored to specific requirements.
A fundamental component is the inclusion of a PVC frame within each fold, which serves as a supportive structure. This frame can be securely attached to the external fold material through various processing methods.
A type for sewing method, suitable for high-temperature working environments. Sewn with a special thread, it remains sturdy and durable even under load.
The PVC frame is stitched into place on each fold for reinforced stability of the shield. We offer a variety of materials for your selection.
Another method is thermal bonding. At certain temperatures, with the help of a special flux, the internal PVC frame can be firmly bonded to the external folding pages.
If the shield is to be used in a moderate temperature environment, this method can be chosen.
Another option involves high-frequency welding of the outer PVC/TPU coated fabric and the inner PVC frame using a high-frequency welding machine, which is efficient, fast, and does not require any additional adhesive.
This high-frequency welded guard* requires no maintenance and is waterproof, dustproof, oil-resistant, and acid-resistant.
