The tailings pond project of a certain gold mine in Hami City, Xinjiang, with a designed capacity of 1.6 million m³, has been filled and is no longer in operation. In accordance with national regulations, an impermeability integrity test of the bottom liner is required before ecological sealing. The high-density resistivity method was used on-site, and data analysis revealed anomalies. However, the groundwater and soil detection data around the site are within normal indicators.
