Product Information: Submersible Mixers
The QJB type submersible mixer is a series of products for mixing and low-speed propulsion.
The QJB type submersible mixer is divided into two main series: mixing and low-speed propulsion.
The Mixed Series Agitators are suitable for mixing suspended liquid in wastewater treatment plants and industrial processes.
Low-speed Turbulator Series Mixers are suitable for industrial and urban sewage treatment plant aeration tanks, producing a strong water flow with low tangential velocity, which can be used to create water currents for circulation and stages such as nitrification, denitrification, and phosphorus removal.
2. Structural Overview and Performance Characteristics of Submersible Mixers
1. The mixer features a compact structure, small size, and light weight. It is easy to operate and maintain, quick to install, and has a long service life.
2. The propeller of the submersible mixer features self-cleaning capabilities, preventing debris entanglement and blockage.
3. When used in conjunction with an aeration system, energy consumption can be significantly reduced, oxygenation levels can be notably increased, and sedimentation can be effectively prevented.
The QJB mixer's motor winding is F-grade insulated, with a protection rating of IP68. It features a one-time lubricated, maintenance-free imported bearing, equipped with oil chamber leakage detection and motor winding overheating protection, ensuring the motor operates safely and reliably.
5. The QJB mixer's mechanical seal friction pair is made of corrosion-resistant tungsten carbide, and all fasteners are made of stainless steel.
Section 3: Applications and Applicable Conditions of Submersible Mixers
The Mixed Agitator Series Submersible Mixers are suitable for various water treatment processes and industrial applications requiring uniform mixing of solid-liquid or solid-liquid-gas three-phase media to maintain consistent reaction.
The QJB mixer can operate continuously under the following conditions:
1. Maximum medium temperature does not exceed 40°C
2 Medium pH range is 5-9
Medium density does not exceed 115 kg/m^3
4 Long-term dive operations, dive depth generally not exceeding 20 meters
Section 4: Considerations for Selecting Submersible Mixers
Selecting the right submersible mixer is a complex task; the correctness of the selection directly affects the normal operation of the equipment. The principle of selection is to ensure that the mixer performs full mixing functions within an appropriate volume, usually determined by flow rate. According to the different process requirements of wastewater treatment plants, the optimal flow rate for the mixer should be between 0.15~0.3 m/s. A flow rate below 0.15 m/s will not achieve the desired push flow mixing effect, and a flow rate above 0.3 m/s will affect the process efficiency and lead to waste. Therefore, before selecting, first determine the application of the QJB mixer, such as: sewage pool, sludge pool, biochemical pool; secondly, the medium parameters, such as: suspended solids content, viscosity, temperature, pH value; and also the shape and depth of the pool.
The required matching power for a submersible mixer is determined by the volume size, the density of the mixture, and the mixing depth, with one or more mixers used based on the specific situation.
5. Submersible Agitator Installation System
The dedicated installation system for submersible mixers allows for quick assembly and disassembly without the need to drain the pool's wastewater.
When the pool depth H is less than 4 meters, it is recommended to use System I for installation. The submersible mixer's submersion depth can be adjusted vertically as needed, and it can rotate up to ±60° around the guide rod within the horizontal plane. The base, support frame, and lower bracket of the hoisting system are all fixed with expansion bolts, eliminating the need for pre-drilled holes.
When the pool depth H is greater than 4 meters, it is recommended to use System II, which requires a concrete foundation (or a steel structure base) at the bottom of the pool. The anchoring bases for the lifting system, steel rope brackets, and guide bases are all fixed with expansion bolts, without the need for pre-drilled holes. System II uses guide steel ropes instead of guide rods, offering convenient transportation and simple on-site installation. This system fundamentally avoids issues such as bending and deformation of guide rods during transportation, which can affect normal use. It also effectively improves situations where normal lifting is not possible due to installation errors of the guide rods in pools with excessive depth. The installation conditions with cantilevered pool tops (as shown) are even more convenient and reliable.
When placing an order, please provide the pool depth H and pool type diagram so that the factory can determine the size of the guide rod or guide wire during processing. The material for the installation system is made of stainless steel (or carbon steel). In the installation system, multiple submersible mixers can share a single lifting device, excluding any special requirements from the customer.
The QJB mixer's dedicated installation system allows for quick assembly and disassembly of the submersible mixer without the need to drain the pond's wastewater.
The installation system I is only applicable for pools with depths less than 4 meters, for mixers of models QJB0.85/8-260/3-740C and QJB1.5/6-260/3-980C. The I-1 model can be adjusted in both horizontal and vertical directions.
Installation systems II, III, IV, and VI are suitable for pool depths of 4m or more. The guide rod can rotate horizontally around the axis of the guide rod, with a maximum angle of -60° to +60°. When the pool depth exceeds 4 meters, an additional support frame should be added in the middle of the guide rod.
Support brackets and bottom brackets are securely fastened to the pool wall and bottom using steel expansion bolts, without the need for pre-drilled holes.
The installation system material for the submersible mixer is available in stainless steel and carbon steel with corrosion resistance options.
