Baghouse Dust Collector: A baghouse dust collector is a dry dust removal device suitable for capturing fine, dry, non-fibrous dust. The filter bags are made from woven fabric or non-woven felt, utilizing the filtering effect of the fibrous material to filter dusty gases. When dusty gases enter the baghouse dust collector, larger and heavier dust particles settle to the bottom due to gravity, falling into the ash hopper. The gas containing finer dust particles is retained by the filter material as it passes through, resulting in purified gas.

Working Principle

The dust removal systems include bag filters and granular bed filters. The former typically uses filter bags made of organic or inorganic fiber fabrics as the filtering layer, while the latter's filtering layer is often composed of particles of various sizes, such as quartz sand, river sand, ceramic beads, slag, graphite, carbon black, and ultrafine powder, etc.

As the powder repeatedly adheres to the outer surface of the filter bag, the powder layer continually thickens, increasing the resistance value of the bag dust collector; the pulse valve diaphragm issues a command, and when it is submerged from both sides, the pulse valve opens, allowing compressed air from the high-pressure air bag to flow through. If there is no more dust or it has reduced to a certain extent, the mechanical cleaning process will cease.

The bag dust collector consists mainly of the upper housing, middle housing, lower housing (ash hopper), cleaning system, and discharge mechanism, etc.

The performance of a bag dust collector depends not only on the correct selection of filter bag material but also on the cleaning system, which plays a decisive role. The cleaning method is one of the characteristics that differentiate bag dust collectors and is a crucial aspect of their operation. It falls under medium-efficiency dust collectors and can be used for the purification of high-temperature flue gases, making it a widely applied dust collector, often used in boiler flue gas dust collection, multi-stage dust collection, and pre-dust collection. Its main drawback is the lower efficiency in removing fine particles (<5μm).

2. Cyclone Dust Collector: A type of dust removal equipment, the cyclone dust collector operates by causing the dust-laden air to rotate, separating and trapping dust particles against the wall of the collector with centrifugal force, and then allowing the particles to fall into the ash hopper under the force of gravity.

3. Water Film Dust Collector: Dusty gas is introduced into the lower part of the筒体 through a tangential inlet, rotates upwards, and dust particles are separated by centrifugal force, thrown against the inner wall of the筒体, and adsorbed by the water film layer flowing on the inner wall. They then flow to the bottom cone and are discharged through the dust outlet. The formation of the water film is achieved by several nozzles located at the upper part of the筒体, which spray water tangentially to the wall. This ensures that a thin, spiraling downward water film always covers the inner wall of the筒体, thereby enhancing the dust removal efficiency. This type of wet dust collector has a simple structure, low metal consumption, and low water consumption. However, its drawbacks include a high height, difficulty in arrangement, and the presence of water droplets during actual operation.
