Extremely long service life. The German MESA Lambda probe (oxygen probe) features a sampling tube + measuring chamber design, which significantly reduces the adverse effects on zirconia ceramic, thereby greatly extending the probe's lifespan. The Lambda probe typically has a lifespan 2-3 times longer than that of standard zirconia probes, with the longest service life reaching 5-7 years. Standard zirconia probes generally have a lifespan of 2-3 months to 1 year. Therefore, when averaged by service life, the user's actual investment is substantially lower than the cost of conventional oxygen probes.
