Gravel polymer is typically treated with a surface retardant. After mixing with various colored stone sands, it is laid and then the curing of the surface aggregate gaps is delayed. The natural colored gravel concrete flooring, also known as the colored gravel polymer flooring, is formed by washing off the retardant to reveal the inherent color of the stone sands.

Another type of similar colored aggregate concrete flooring is formed by applying a decorative aggregate finish to the plastic concrete. Simulated polymer aggregate concrete is created by hand-spraying the aggregates, with a requirement for uniform particle size and a pre-installation cleaning. Distribute the aggregates evenly on the surface, and then press them into the concrete using a hand trowel or a scraper. Start applying immediately after scraping the concrete, compacting until the aggregates are fully embedded in the concrete surface. Use water washing or retardant treatment methods for the exposed aggregates.

Polymer aggregate concrete technology classification:
1. Gravel Concrete Surface Squeegee Treatment: Drag a clean stiff bristle brush across the plastic surface to achieve even stripes, forming a brushed finish. The direction of the stripes on adjacent panels should be interlaced.
1) Gentle Surface Sweep: Made by sweeping with medium to high hardness synthetic bristles.
2) Medium Surface Sweep: Made by sweeping with medium to high hardness palm bristle brushes.
3) Heavy-duty surface cleaning: Scoured with high-hardness palm bristles or wire brushes.
2. Gravel Concrete Sponge Troweling: Slightly coarser than smooth troweling, achieved by applying a surface with a sponge or rubber trowel, leaving a radiating troweling pattern. Or, please consult the owner for artistic guidance to determine the desired troweling pattern.
3. Smooth and dense surface of gravel concrete trowels or spades: No traces of trowels, spreaders, grooving tools, or edge tools. It should be done after the concrete troweling is completed and only when the concrete surface is free of moisture during the smoothing process.
4. Smooth Troweled Gravel Concrete: This finish offers a relatively flat and smooth appearance with textures that provide adequate slip resistance. Apply using a wooden or metal trowel in continuous circular patterns to leave fine textures. Alternatively, consult with the client for artistic guidance to determine the desired troweling patterns.
