What are the control methods for thermostats?
The control methods of thermostats mainly include two types: ON/OFF control and PID control.
1. ON/OFF control is a simple method with only two states: ON and OFF. When the set temperature falls below the target temperature, the thermostat will output an ON signal to activate heating; when the set temperature exceeds the target temperature, the thermostat will output an OFF signal to stop heating. Although this method is straightforward, the temperature will fluctuate around the target value, failing to stabilize at the set point. Therefore, it is suitable for applications where high control precision is not required.
