The Marathon (Marathon) Zirconia Oxygen Probe is an industrial online gas oxygen analysis sensor based on the principle of high-temperature solid electrolyte. It is widely used in industries such as combustion control (e.g., boilers, kilns), heat treatment, iron and steel metallurgy, and chemical engineering. Its core structure is a zirconia (ZrO2) solid electrolyte electrochemical battery. Core structure and working principle: Zirconia tube/ ceramic rod (Zirco(Nia Tube/Ceramic Probe): This is the core sensitive element of the probe. Made of zirconia (ZrO2) ceramic doped with stabilizers like yttria oxide (Y2O3) or calcium oxide (CaO), it maintains a stable fluorite structure at high temperatures, allowing oxygen ions (O2-) to migrate through lattice defects, making it an oxygen ion conductor (solid electrolyte). The shape is typically a sealed small tube or a solid rod.
