Continuous furnace with 3 sections; atmosphere control measurement is placed in the last two sections.
The atmospheric measurement differences in the first section are too great (temperature and air are very unstable).
Oxygen probe installation and usage should be traceable, with records of replacement, installation dates, and oxygen probe serial numbers, etc., to be kept and preserved.
Installation Method: Lay flat or vertically, wire terminal temperature below 100°C, surrounding temperature below 50°C.
Oxygen probe outer diameter: 21mm, quick connection: 1-inch NPT.
Typically, a 11/2-inch (38mm) hole is drilled in the furnace body, and a 11/2-inch pipe threaded connector is welded. Use a 1-inch to 11/2-inch adapter for the oxygen probe. During installation, for safety, change the furnace atmosphere to nitrogen or install under a carbon-burning condition. Position: For horizontal installation, the oxygen probe should extend about 50-100mm from the wall, not exceeding 100mm to prevent bending damage. For vertical installation, it should be about 50mm above the effective heating area, and it is recommended to use an interval support sleeve to secure the spacing to prevent falling damage. Insertion speed: Initially, insert about 100mm in one go, followed by an insertion speed of 1-2 inches per minute. If removing a suspected problematic oxygen probe during high temperatures, do not exceed 2 inches per minute, and after removal, protect it with insulating material to prevent rapid cooling damage. Reference air: Clean air flow rate, 0.2-2.0 SCFH (standard cubic feet per hour), or 100-1000ml/min. The reference air pressure should not exceed 2psi, and it should take about 10 minutes or more after introducing the air to accurately measure. Note: Do not reverse the connection of reference air and carbon-burning air.
