I. Application
The ZBK series Roots vacuum pumps are coarse vacuum obtaining equipment, widely used in industries such as papermaking, chemical, pharmaceutical, building materials, food, clothing, and sugar production. They are the ideal equipment for vacuum dehydration of the long circular mesh water tank or the long mesh papermaking machine in the papermaking industry. Within this scope, compared to water ring vacuum pumps, the ZBK series Roots vacuum pumps offer advantages such as high suction speed, high efficiency, compact structure, small size, easy maintenance, long service life, and low power consumption. The medium for suction can be dry or wet air or a mixture of water, but the medium must not contain granular substances, high dust gases, or corrosive materials.
II. Structure and Working Principle
The internal structure of this machine consists of two 8-shaped structure rotors. The motor drives the driving rotor to rotate through a V-belt pulley, and the driven rotor is rotated by the driven gear driven by the synchronous gears. The two rotors do not touch each other and maintain an approximate gap of 0.4mm. There is an approximate gap of 0.25mm between the rotors and the pump housing and end caps. During operation, due to the continuous separation of the two rotors at the bottom of the pump chamber, volume expansion occurs, and at the top, the continuous approach of the two rotors causes volume contraction, thereby completing the suction and exhaust functions. This creates a vacuum on the suction side and connects the exhaust side to the atmosphere, approaching atmospheric pressure.
The pump body outlet features a sound-deadening chamber, which also provides stable pressure and sealing, thereby enhancing the pump's operational efficiency.
