The配套渗滤液调节池 project at a certain municipal solid waste landfill in Longyan City, Fujian Province features a regulating pond with a capacity of 7,400 cubic meters. It is lined with double-layer geotextile membranes for leakage prevention. Integrity tests were conducted on the membranes prior to operation, using the electric-heat method. One mechanical damage was detected, which was resolved through geotextile membrane extrusion welding and passed subsequent retesting.
