Mica thermal insulation board processing preheating involves placing the billet between heated plates, applying pressure to close the plates and maintain a pressure of 1~5 MPa (10~50 kg/cm²) for preheating.
Simultaneously heat to approximately 100°C, maintain for 20-6 minutes, this stage is called preheating. The purpose of preheating is to uniformly heat all parts of the material at a relatively low temperature, melt the resin, distribute it evenly under pressure, and achieve deeper impregnation into the fibers. At the same time, some volatiles are also removed during the preheating process. A lower preheating temperature will prolong the preheating time and affect production efficiency. However, if the temperature is too high, especially when the solubility resin content of the material is low, the product may appear with honeycomb-like structures due to the small preheating pressure, high surface temperature near the heating plate, and poor fluidity. If the softening point of the resin is high, the preheating temperature should be appropriately increased, generally 10-15°C higher than the melting temperature of the resin. Additionally, if the solubility resin content of the adhesive tape is high, the preheating temperature can also be increased, but the pressure should not be excessive and should be increased gradually to avoid excessive dripping.
Based on the aforementioned conditions, the preheating temperature and pressure should be coordinated with the material changes. For胶纸板 and 胶布板, the preheating pressure can be slightly higher, around 3~5MPa (30~50kgf/cm²). For 环氧酚醛玻璃布板, due to the smooth surface of the glass fabric, if the preheating pressure is too high, it may cause material leakage. Therefore, the pressure should not be excessive, typically around 13MPa (10-30kgf/cm²).')
