Porous pavements, as a new environmentally friendly and ecological road material, have garnered increasing attention. Modern urban surfaces are predominantly covered with reinforced concrete structures, which can be widely used for various types of roads, squares, gardens, industrial parks, public parking lots, pedestrian paths, residential communities, garden walkways, villas, garden roads, scenic roads, leisure paths, leisure squares, garden roads, replicas of ancient architectural complexes, and various other functional roads.

Porous concrete flooring installation
a. Subgrade Preparation: Clean the subgrade surface ensuring it is free of dust, twigs, paper debris, and other debris. Wet the subgrade surface prior to laying.
b. Fabric: Consider the compacted reserved height when laying permeable paving. When using manual fabric for permeable paving, use a shovel to reverse the fabric; throwing is strictly prohibited. If the laying time of permeable paving exceeds 30 minutes or during strong wind conditions, cover the concrete site with plastic sheeting promptly to prevent rapid moisture loss from the permeable paving.
c. Tamping: After the plain color permeable floor fabric is completed, it is leveled with a trowel and then tamped with a flat plate tamping machine. Once tamping is finished, lay the colored permeable floor or colored aggregate permeable concrete on the surface, smooth it out, promptly replenish any material shortages, and use specialized permeable floor equipment for surface tamping and leveling until it is flush with the formwork.
d. Surface Finishing: Promptly trim the edges of permeable concrete after rolling, fill and level out any material shortages, and for drier areas, first spray a uniform layer of water before adding material for finishing.
e. After the permeable concrete is exposed aggregate and the surface is smooth and dense enough, spray and brush a cleaning agent evenly on the surface, then cover it with a plastic film. After 6-8 hours (depending on the weather) of spraying, use a high-pressure water jet to rinse the surface. When rinsing, ensure the cleaning agent is thoroughly cleaned without any peeling off.
f. Maintenance: After the surface finishing of the permeable pavement, it should be immediately lightly sprinkled with water and covered with plastic film for maintenance. The maintenance period is the same as that of normal concrete. During the maintenance period, barriers should be set around the road surface, and it is strictly prohibited for people and vehicles to enter.

Permeable concrete paving material is an eco-friendly, high-permeability material used in sponge city construction. It is a new paving method that can partially replace urban paved surfaces and revitalize urban ecosystems. It restores vitality to the city's surface, allows rainwater to infiltrate the ground, effectively eliminates surface water accumulation, and is a "breathing" green and environmentally friendly ground material.
